10 Songs, Vol. 15

Everything's a bit behind schedule this month (is anyone else having difficulties uploading photos to blogger?), but these are ten tracks I was particularly enjoying throughout September.

It was another excellent month musically (though a bit shit in most other ways), with a number of album releases catching my attention alongside these tracks. In particular there was: The 1975's self-titled debut; London Grammar's 'If You Wait'; Birdy's 'Fire Within'; Chvrches' 'The Bones of What You Believe'; and Haim's long-awaited 'Days Are Gone' ..all of which are brilliant and should be downloaded with immediate effect. I've also, I must confess, been giving Jessie J's 'Alive' a guilty play or two -- it's not at all my usual style of music, but her voice is incredible and I find something about her inexplicably endearing!

Besides new releases, September was all about Laura Marling in the run up to her Edinburgh gig at the end of the month. Her support act, Nick Mulvey (previously featured in June's playlist), is also exceptionally talented and worth checking out!

All in all it was a damn good musical month, but if I'm missing anything better please share!
