A Sunday Drive

Sundays are weird days in my universe - I work in the morning and the evening, with a strange void in between that I'm never sure what to do with. Yesterday I filled two hours of it driving around the countryside, stopping off here and there to take photos. I'm not usually a huge fan of driving, but there was something almost therapeutic about driving with no particular destination in mind.

Most of the photos I ended up taking were actually in Fraserburgh, over beside the lighthouse and then along the beach esplanade (where I don't think I've ever been before - how is that possible?!), but there is so much beautiful scenery to admire on the way!

I had to make a stop in St Combs for a Buchan's Ices cappy (ice-cream) - it's compulsory - before finally heading back to Peterhead in time to catch the end of the rugby.

As far as Sundays go, this was a pretty good one!

  3. Lovely photos - a good use of your in-between time on a Sunday. Sometimes driving just to tour about is really good fun.

    1. It really was! Although, my line-manager had quite a bad crash on some of those roads a few days later, so I might not be repeating it anytime soon! (At least until the weather settles down.)

      Hope you're keeping well!xo
