10 Songs, Vol. 9

What a month for music March turned out to be!

There are a whole pile of tracks that just missed out on the list for this month, but with so many of my favourite artists in the whole entire world releasing new tracks (songs 1-5) all at once, the competition was tough! I'm so excited to hear albums from all of these artists later in the year.

This month also saw Bastille's long-anticipated album debut which met all my expectations and more. They went straight to a well-deserved number 1 on the album chart and I've been playing it continually all month.
In other album news, both Laura Mvula and Daughter's debuts are incredibly beautiful and Kate Nash's 'Girl Talk' is feisty and fun. Oh.. and some guy called David Bowie might have released something too.

Little miss Nesbitt caught my attention again this month too with her cover of the 1975's 'Chocolate' for the Radio 1 Live Lounge Late. Well worth a listen or two. I'm kind of obsessed.

It was a jolly good month for music. Here's hoping April can match up..
